Tonight, at the PXU Governing Board Meeting, we celebrated DECA programs from Camelback, TGB, and Maryvale for earning the Thrive Award. We also recognized the Metro Tech Flower Shop for receiving 3rd place at the Tempe Blooms competition. Before the meeting, the Academies at South Mountain Band performed in celebration of Music in Our Schools Month.





Congratulations to Central boys basketball for making it to the State Championship game! They will go on to play Mountain Pointe tomorrow night at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. We are so proud of both Central and Hayden for making it this far in the season and we wish Central luck in bringing that trophy home šš„

Today, students from TGBās Academy of Emerging Technologies held a robotics and 3D printing tournament to practice for bigger competitions š„ All of the robots and 3D printed components are created and maintained by the students themselves. We had a lot of amazing celebrations tonight at the PXU Governing Board Meeting š. First, the Board celebrated Black History Month by inviting the South Step Team to perform with special guests from Bernard Black š„. Next, the Board recognized 3 North wrestlers exhibiting incredible sportsmanship, Aiden Galaviz, Alexander Liberato Ruiz, and Julian Ceballosš¤¼. The Board then recognized all of PXUās new and maintaining NBCTās š. Finally, they celebrated the Board being complete with 7 members after the elections of Aaron Marquez and Francisco Pastor-Rivera. š„³
