Last night, PXU had a celebration for our employees who reached 5 year milestones, including employees up to 40 and 50 years with Phoenix Union š The evening took place at Metro Techās banquet hall and featured delicious food made and served by their Culinary Arts students, with centerpieces created by the Metro Tech Flower Shop. Congratulations to all of our dedicated employees who are celebrating milestones this year, and thank you to all of the Metro Tech students and staff who contributed to this wonderful event! š










South Upward and Onwardās classroom was the place to be todayš„! Today, they hosted their 4th annual Friendsgiving celebration where all of the interns picked Thanksgiving recipes they wanted to make, shopped for all of the ingredients, and made the food from scratch themselves to serve to their friends and family š We are so proud of all of the incredible work our Upward and Onward interns do every single day.

Last night at Central, the Miss Indian PXU 2025-2026 Pageant celebrated the incredible culture, traditions, and talents of some of our amazing PXU students š§” Congratulations to Katelynn Coleman, a senior from Alhambra who represents the Navajo Nation, for being crowned the next Miss Indian PXU! š







Happy Veterans Day, PXU Family šŗšø! Today, we honor all those who have served & are currently serving in the US military. We also remember those who lost their lives serving our country. PXU is closed today in observance of the holiday and will reopen tomorrow.

The Student Athlete Leadership Team took advantage of of the L&D Day and held a meeting at Central this morning š During these meetings, student athletes from across the district discuss topics like leadership and how to bring different skills back to their campuses. Itās also a great networking opportunity. Great job to all of them š„










Today, 3DE students from Alhambra and Cesar Chavez made the most of their L&D Dayš! These students traveled to Tempe and paid a visit to Deloitte, a financial company that they are helping with an event called Impact Day. The students were given presentations and toured the building that Deloitte occupies. What an amazing opportunity! š„










Tonight, the Governing Board invited students and staff from the PXU Native American Education Program to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. NAEP presented about the benefits of their program for Native students and shared a beautiful basket dance performance with the Board and the meeting attendees. Happy Native American Heritage Month!

PXU is extremely proud to share the news of yet another Class of 2026 student who is now a Million Dollar Scholarš. Isabella Villareal Berrelleza is a senior at Cesar Chavez who not only surpassed $1M in scholarships, but is currently at over $3M in total offered scholarships and countingš. She plans to attend NAU to study computer science, citing that she wants a change of scenery but still wants to be close to home. Congratulations, Isabella! We are so proud of you š„

Yesterday, Maryvale celebrated Red Ribbon Week by inviting community partners to share resources and information with our students š¤ Throughout the day, students had various presentations about topics such as the positives of a drug free lifestyle, and could visit tables for resources at lunch. š Thank you to the community partners who participated!








Today, NASCAR driver Daniel SuĆ”rez stopped by Carl Hayden for an assembly where he shared his story about being the first Mexican-born NASCAR driver š Students were able to ask him questions and take photos with him after the assembly, and all were given tickets to participate in activities at the raceway this weekend. Thank you to Phoenix Raceway and Daniel SuĆ”rez for taking the time to share today with our students š










Today, the American College of Gastroenterology held a 2 hour workshop for Bioscience High School juniors and seniors interested in a career in healthcare and medicine 𩺠One activity included students testing the real equipment used for endoscopies. What a great opportunity for our students š
