Important Announcements for Central High School No School on Monday, 3/31: Cesar Chavez Day Please be reminded that there will be no school on Monday, March 31st, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Enjoy your day off! Tuesday, 4/1: AzSCI Testing for Juniors Only On Tuesday, April 1st, AzSCI testing will take place for 11th-grade students only. Juniors, please ensure you arrive before 8:00 AM for your testing. iDay for 9th, 10th, and 12th Grades For students in 9th, 10th, and 12th grades, Tuesday, April 1st, will be an iDay. You will need to work on the assignments or forms posted by your Advisory teachers to receive attendance for the day. Thank you for your attention to these important updates.

Central High School's Multicultural Celebration is coming up on Friday, May 2nd! This year's theme is Carnival and Fashion Show. The event will feature a variety of exciting activities including an assembly, delicious food, a vibrant fashion show, fun games, henna art, pot painting, and many other engaging activities. Upcoming ACT Testing for Juniors- Attention 11th Graders! Please arrive before 8 AM on Tuesday, March 25th for your ACT testing. Make sure to be on time and well-prepared for the test. Important Note for Grades 9, 10, and 12: Tuesday will be an I-DAY. There will be no regular classes, so plan accordingly.

Central High School Boys Basketball Team Clinches State Title! This year has been nothing short of spectacular for the Central High School boys basketball team. Their hard work and dedication culminated in winning the state championship at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding achievement! 🏆🎉

Central High School will conduct PreACT testing for all 10th graders on Tuesday, March 18th. Students should arrive before 8 AM with their school laptop and charger. Meanwhile, students in grades 9, 11, and 12 will have an I-DAY, with attendance taken in TEAMS by their advisory teacher. For any questions, please contact the school.

This morning, the Martin Luther King Day Assembly at Betty H. Fairfax High School celebrated the civil rights movement and Dr. Martin Luther King with presentations by the LGBTQ and Japanese clubs, performances by the school’s dance team 💃🏾 and choir, and professional dancers and drummers that taught the students multicultural dances. 😌 🩵 🎶

Central High School proudly participated in this year's APS Light Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024. This marked our first appearance in the parade in over 25 years! The theme of our float was "Winter Wonderland," made possible by the incredible support and skills of our amazing Central staff and wonderful students.

Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day 🙌! Students who will be 18 by Election Day can register to vote on campus tomorrow. You will need photo ID and your social security number. Parents can also register to vote by visiting Vote.gov/Register/Arizona
