The PXU Native American Education Program invites the Central High School community to recognize Orange Shirt Day on September 30.
Orange Shirt Day honors survivors of Indigenous residential and boarding schools and remembers the children who never returned home. The color orange represents remembrance, resilience, awareness, and healing, while āEvery Child Mattersā reminds us of the importance of every childās dignity, culture, and identity.
Join us by wearing orange on September 30 as a symbol of remembrance, respect, and support for Indigenous communities.
