* No School on Thursday, June 18th (in observance of Juneteenth)
Summer School Students: If you currently have a City Bus Card it will expire before Summer School starts. Please pick up your summer bus card from Ms. Maxie in Room 1016.

- Once there, please use your student credentials to login. If you are not a student, create an account
-Go to Shop Items at All Schools
-Click SHOOL TYPE--HIGH SCHOOL. Then select CHAVEZ
-Click CATEGORIES--MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS and select the number of yearbooks you are purchasing.
-Email Ms. C. Cunningham at ccunningham.phoenixunion.org if there are any issues with this process or message her on Teams.

There are only 138 yearbooks left for purchase in the bookstore! The price is $70.

This is the last week to secure a yearbook! Pre-order at the bookstore for $70 by March 6th!

If you will be 18 before November 3rd, get registered to vote on February 25th during both lunches! This will take place outside of the cafeteria. Please bring your AZ driver's license or state ID.

We will administer four state tests over four consecutive weeks. Testing will occur one grade level at a time. If your grade is not scheduled to test on a testing day, you will have an iDay (stay home). The dates go as follows:
- Pre-ACT, March 17th (sophomores )
- ACT, March 24th (juniors)
- AzSci, March 31st (juniors)
- ACT Aspire, April 7th (freshmen)

PXU is extremely proud to share the news of yet another Class of 2026 student who is now a Million Dollar Scholar🎓. Isabella Villareal Berrelleza is a senior at Cesar Chavez who not only surpassed $1M in scholarships, but is currently at over $3M in total offered scholarships and counting🎉. She plans to attend NAU to study computer science, citing that she wants a change of scenery but still wants to be close to home. Congratulations, Isabella! We are so proud of you 🔥

Chavez Family! Right now we have a welcome back yearbook special! From now until the end of the month, you can reserve a yearbook for $60 in the bookstore or with the QR code provided. The price goes up to $65 on September 1st.
