Friendly House: The Family Services Departments assists children and families to stabilize their personal and home environments through emergency relief, counseling, and parent training. The Emergency Services/Basic Needs program prevents homelessness and stabilizes families in Greater Phoenix by providing emergency/basic needs services such as: utility and/or rent assistance, transportation assistance, food boxes, information and referrals for other community resources which will improve the clients’ prospects for improving their self-sufficiency.

One N Ten – Promise of A New Day Housing Program: Promise of a New Day is a supportive housing program designed to help one•n•ten youth experiencing homelessness gain the skills necessary to successfully transition to independent living. One•n•ten’s Case Manager works closely with the youth to ensure they have the resources to succeed.  This includes job training, life skill training, mental health counseling, transportation, and personal development goal-setting to guide their path.

The Salvation Army: The Kaiser Family Center is a 120-day program that assists homeless families. The program promotes self-sufficiency by helping adults develop the skills necessary to maintain a secure lifestyle. Families are provided with housing, meals, and material assistance during the program. Children living at the shelter attend an after-school program and various recreational activities.
