Advanced Readiness at Chavez High (ARCH) is a premiere micro-school housed within the Chavez campus for students interested in attending a competitive four-year national university by making those students competitive on a national scale. The primary mission of ARCH is to help students achieve admission to competitive universities around the country, be able to afford those universities, and give those students the necessary skills to thrive at a competitive university. It is an application-based four-year cohort program that pushes students to excel at high levels. Over the last 4 years, ARCH students have earned more than $28.7 million for higher education. Since 2007, over 150 colleges and universities have accepted ARCH students. These colleges and universities include the Ivy League (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, Colombia), top-rated national universities (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Vanderbilt University, Rice University, University of Notre Dame, UCLA), and outstanding liberal arts colleges (Williams College, Amherst College, Swarthmore College, Pomona College, Carleton College, Middlebury College).
