2022 Fall Dialogue

Dear PXU Students and Parents/Guardians,

This past January, PXU held dialogue sessions with members of our community to share important information we gathered regarding perspectives, reflections, and lived experiences as shared by students, parents, and staff that identify within the Black, African American, African diaspora.

At that time, we shared common themes and initial actions that had been taken to best support justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) in our community, specifically as it relates to Black students, staff, and community. Furthermore, we asked for feedback on next steps and committed to reconnecting with our community to share our commitments to future action. 

PXU invites you to participate in a follow-up dialogue session regarding our prioritized focus areas for the 2022-2023 school year and for you to provide further input on solutions in these areas.  Information regarding dates, times, and locations for the dialogue sessions is attached to this email and appears below. Please attend any of the three available in-person sessions and/or one virtual session.
