Welcome

  • Welcome to Phoenix Educator Preparatory! We are an early-college, early-service high school that provides students opportunities to concurrently earn high school credit, early college credit and early industry experiences in these 5 career pathways: Elementary Teaching, Secondary Teaching, Counseling, Social Work, and Educational Psychology.

In addition to jump-starting their futures with early college and career experiences, Phoenix Educator Preparatory graduates will stay connected to our small, specialty high school during and after college to give and receive tutoring / mentoring supports, gain field experience, and secure early employment. Graduates may also receive financial incentives and residency supports from state, higher education and community partners.

We look forward to seeing the many ways that Phoenix Educator Preparatory alumni will teach, lead, and care in education, healthcare, leadership, community settings and beyond.

    iDay Resources

Our next district-wide iDay is happening on Monday, September 18, 2023. Students will share specific details with parents/families prior to each iDay and more details are below. Please note that students will not be traveling to our campus - but may log into Microsoft Teams to check-in with teachers from 12:30-1:30pm.

In PXU, iDays are dedicated to individualized learning. These days are designed to support mastery-based independent learning outside of the classroom AND to provide campus wrap-around supports for students (academic and non-academic). The priority is to ensure students are succeeding academically, and students may be invited / expected to come to campus on iDays if they need additional supports.

While students have the flexibility to work on independent / project-based learning in the morning on iDays, teachers and staff will participate in professional learning and training to better prepare everyone for ensuring quality seats for all students.
