Family and Consumer Sciences
The concept of work is central to our program, for "Skills Pay Bills." The field represents many disciplines including nutrition and food preparation, fashion and early childhood education. Examples of workplace applications include basic knowledge skills, thinking skills, and personal qualities to prepare students to successfully manage individual, family, work, and community roles. Students prepare to enter paid employment and to advance within a career with additional training and/or education.
