Ms. Chang

Ms. Chang is in her third year of teaching and her first year at Central High School. She has recently earned her MEd in Education at ASU and was a recent transplant to Arizona from Washing D.C. since 2020. She is originally from Taiwan, but has been in the United States in 2016 when she pursued her Bachelors degree at St. John's College.

Her first teaching experience was at a charter school in Arizona during the middle of the pandemic. Since then, she has taught English, poetry, and French, but has focused on English since last year. Some of her favorite authors include Honorée Fanonne Jeffers and Amor Towles, authors that focus on understanding, utilizing, and changing the English language.

Outside of work, Ms. Chang loves hiking with her two pitbulls, cooking Taiwanese food for her friends and family, curling up with a cup of Earl Grey, and choosing a book from her home library.

One of Ms. Chang's favorite literary quote is...

"The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”
― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov
