    Spanish Culture and Cuisine – Helpers meeting 16th April 5p.m. – U3A Moraira-Teulada
Welcome to North or Welcome back Mustangs. Glad you are in Spanish 1-2 or Spanish 1-2 Honors with me. It's going to be a fantastic journey of learning the Spanish language, about the cultures, and so much more.

I was born in Madrid, Spain many years ago. I grew up in Phoenix and have been in Arizona since I was six years old. I attended the University of Arizona where I earned a Bachelor's in Arts, majoring in Spanish and minoring in Marketing. Go Wildcats! I had the opportunity to study abroad for one year, and, of course, I went to Spain. I have family in Spain and wanted to be close to them. During my study abroad program, I earned a certificate for literature focusing on the famous novel Don Quixoje (de la mancha). If you are an avid reader, I recommend this book to you. It's available in English.

I have also earned two Master degrees, one in secondary education and one in administration.

My favorite things to do are karate, travel, hike, watch movies, and, of course, spend time with family and friends. I have been to over 25 countries and been on five continents, and hope to visit all soon.
