I have been officially working in the field of Sports Medicine since 2000, and teaching since 2009. I have covered athletic training services at both the high school and college levels, while working in physical therapy clinics, and have coached several youth and adult sports teams. I have been heavily involved in movement driven learning and the healthy schools initiative since 2016, and coauthored several publications on the topic, including training manuals and articles. I also wrote the fitness chapter in the 2001 published textbook for The Adult Health and Wellness Gerontogly courses at Arizona State University.
This is my fourth year at Central High School, and I hope to develop our CTE Sports Medicine Program to be a highly regarded focus for our school, as well as our Student Wellness Advocacy Team.
