    Hi!
     
    My name is Daisy Cannon and I teach in the ESL department at North High School. I am a first year teacher, however, I did my student teaching in the Senior English department here at North, so I feel very supported and immersed in the culture and community at North High School. I graduated from Arizona State University in May of 2018 with my Bachelor's Degree in English (Secondary Education). I am committed to helping my students learn the English language and become equipped with all the best skills to help them use it in the real world as well as the classroom. I love to write, read, and hike. I generally enjoy just being outside- nature is a beautiful thing and I hate missing out on experiencing it. I am also the Girl's Swim Coach here at North, and I love being able to pass along my knowledge to the next generation of swimmers. Whether they are seasoned swimmers or brand-new guppies that are just learning to swim, I love being the one to lead each student to their personal goals. I love learning, and thus, I love to teach.
