I currently live in Phoenix, AZ.  I was born in raised in Mesa, AZ and graduated from Mesa High School. In college, I found out how much I enjoyed learning about science and I took a diverse range of courses (biology, chemistry, genetics, health, physics, etc.).  After graduating, I remembered how much I enjoyed my time as a teaching assistant helping people see how science explains how the world works. With this in mind, I enrolled in a teaching program and became a science teacher. I recently finshed an online Master's program through the University of Arizona.
