Transitioning Learners to College (TLC Program)

1st Semester and 2nd Semester
- Students can take 1-6 credit hours at Phoenix College
- Student will also take a course of their choice
- Students have the opportunity to enrolled in non-credit fitness center course
- Students will participate in voluntary work experience
- Students will work with TLC Team to choose appropriate courses for the semester

- Offers a full-day college transition program
- Provides free college courses
- Disability resource center support
- Support in college courses
- Employability skills-soft, potentially with work experiences
Requirements of Students entering the program
- Complete all core classes (4 years of Math and English and 3 years of Science and History)
- Working towards independent transportation. Expected to have independent transportation by the start of the program
- Good attendance and good behavior
