    I have been working in education with youth for over 10 years. I began my work as an educator establishing and expanding empowerment programs for middle school students run by high school and college students. I am committed to helping youth develop their capacity in all areas of their lives and want to assist them as they mature into adulthood. I care most about the growth of students in my classes. I have a immense confidence in the latent capacity of my students and thus have high expectations. I have been teaching in the Phoenix Union High School District for 4 years. I have taught all 4 of the required Social Studies courses, taught Evening School, and Gifted Seminar. I welcome communication with parents and am available to speak over the phone or even visit if asked.
