    Math Instructional Leader
    Room # 207
I have been teaching within Phoenix Union High School District for the past seven years.  I am the math instructional leader at Linda Abril Academy.  This is my first year teaching at Linda Abril Educational Academy.  I previously taught and am one of the founding teachers of Phoenix Coding Academy.  I taught there for three years and was one of the instructional leaders my last year there. I also previously taught at Maryvale High School for three years teaching various levels of mathematics.  I believe all students should have access to high quality education that fits their specific needs.  I also am an adjunct faculty member at Chandler Gilbert Community College teaching Biology 181 for the past two years.
I have a 6 year old son, Bryson, who keeps me busy when I'm not teaching.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Alabama State University, my first Master's degree from Tuskegee University, and my second Master's degree in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix.  I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters in Educational Administration.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I look forward to all of the exciting adventures that this year brings with my students.
