My name is Sean Frankie.  I believe student success is a collaborative effort between teachers, students, and counselors.  My role in that collaboration is to ensure students are enrolled in the appropriate courses for their individual skill level and in courses that keep them on track to graduate in four years.  I track student progress and grades across the school year, and intervene where I see concern.  I promise to challenge students to their potential and encourage them to challenge themselves to a higher level.  I have an 'open door' policy.  Students and parents/guardians are always welcome to come to my office for any issue at hand.
My education includes a B.S. degree in Psychology from Campbell University (Buies Creek, NC), a M.S. degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo, CA), and a M.C. degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ).  I am an Arizona native- I was born in Glendale and graduated from Apollo High School.  I am a military veteran.  Most importantly, I am a father of a school-age son and I embrace the importance of educating our youth.  I am proud to be part of the team at Cesar Chavez High School.
