    Welcome to Science. My name is Ms. Young and I am excited to be your teacher this year. The 2019-2020 school year marks my 7th year of teaching. I previously studied environmental science at the University of California Santa Barbara, and then Teach for America brought me to Phoenix where I earned my Masters degree at Arizona State. I taught two years of middle school science and am now in my fifth year here at Chavez. I am currently back at ASU working towards my second masters in Educational Leadership. I can't imagine a better place to be and I feel lucky to be at such a great school. GO CHAMPIONS
