• Yearbook

The production of the yearbook is a multi-disciplinary subject. Students will have the opportunity to take and select photography for printing and publication, to design and alter layouts, to write and edit copy, to create headlines and cut lines, to learn the basics of graphic design and expository writing skills, and to work cooperatively towards the goal of the publication of the school yearbook. As part of the class, students will be required to meet all deadlines, market the yearbook, work with parents, teachers, and staff, take photos, write stories for the blog, video, and yearbook, cover events and activities, and maintain a schedule. Computer skills are recommended since students will be expected to learn the Photoshop CS2, Vegas Movie Studio, Acid Music Mixer, and edesign programs.
