I am from Phoenix, but I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where I earned a BS degree in Recreation and Parks, with a Minor in Youth Services Admin. I'm a single mother of a teenage boy on the Autism Spectrum and ADHD. My life experience with my son brought me into the classroom. Though I have known I've wanted to be Art Teacher for some time, I finally have gained the courage to begin to pursue the dream. Presently, I work as an Instructional Assistant in the ESS, Success Program. I am also a Certified Emergency Substitute with PXU. In the future, I hope to retire as an Art or Social Studies Teacher.
