I am in my 21st year of teaching.  I received my B.A.E. from Arizona State University and my Masters from Northern Arizona University. I started my profession in the Alhambra Elementary School District and then transferred to Phoenix Union in 2000.  Before arriving here at Maryvale H.S., I've taught at Cesar Chavez and Betty Fairfax. Teaching history has always been interesting, relating past events to present day material has fueled my passion in life. One passion will always be coaching basketball.  I had the opportunity to coach our 2010-11 Boy's Varsity Basketball Team (Fairfax HS) to victory, in the 2011 State Championship. But, my number one passion will always be my family.  Married to my lovely wife (Kellee) for 28 years, three great daughters, and four wonderful grandchildren. I am proud to be here and looking forward in building new traditions as a Panther.
