PXU Library Mission Statement:
To ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information to prepare them for college, career and life.
Central Library is an integral part of the educational environment at Central High School. Before school, students can check out books, read silently, do their homework, or work on assignments on the computers. During the school day, classes are scheduled to do research and learn how to search for information on the district databases. The library is open during both lunches and afterschool.
During Advisory, students can come to the library to complete assignments on the computer. After school, students can get extra help and tutoring. We are working to improve Central library in order to better serve students and staff.
Central High School Mission

Central High School Vision
