Welcome to South Mountain Culinary Arts
High School never tasted so good!  
Like many my love for all things culinary started at home. Both of my parents cooked with passion and imagination; Mom putting a delicate Polish twist to mid-western comfort food and baking, while Dad spent days crafting gourmet delights for lavish dinner parties.  These experiences lead me to a lifelong love of great food and started me on a career path as an artist, designer, restauranteur and educator. 
This will be my  9th year teaching Culinary Arts,with  the last 7 here at South Mountain. This is an exciting year! We will be starting the year with a new commercial  kitchen. My advanced students  will be sharpening their culinary skills as we reach into the community to gain practical work-base experience. This summer I established a working relationship with the Marriott's Camelback Inn and Resort Chef. He is eager to work with our students as they  prepare for events. I will continue to reach out and find other chefs willing to come on site as well as allow us to visit their kitchen.
