    What grade do I have to be in to join JROTC? Students must be enrolled in 9th - 12 grade.

     

    Is high school credit given for the JROTC Course? Yes, JROTC is an elective subject. Academic credit is earned for successful completion of each semester of JROTC

     

    Do I have to join the military if I take JROTC? No, you are under no obligation for any military service.

     
     
    Do I have to wear a uniform if I take JROTC? Yes, you wear a cadet uniform one day a week. Drill team and Color Guard team members may also wear the uniform when special ceremonies are scheduled, and during integrated activities.

     

    Do I have to pay for the uniform and textbooks? No, the JROTC Program supplies you with your uniform, text books, and equipment the course may require. However, you are responsible for the return upon completion of the course.

     

    When is JROTC taught for scheduling purposes? JROTC is taught during normal school hours. Integrated activities such as Drill, Rifle and Color Guard team competition, and community projects are conducted after school hours
