The ACT

Seniors: Below are the ACT testing dates for this academic year. Currently, many schools do not require ACT or SAT scores for admissions, but some scholarships do. If you plan to retake the ACT, please see your counselor for a fee waiver.

Note: All Juniors will take the ACT at Alhambra in the spring. It's never too early to start preparing. ACT test prep materials are available on the ACT website  as well as Amazon.com. There are also various websites that offer free test prep options. 

The SAT

The SAT is an alternative test to the ACT.  Nearly every college in the US accepts scores for both the ACT and SAT; however, some schools may prefer one over the other. Like the ACT, the SAT is offered on Saturdays throughout the year at various testing sites.
