    Welcome to World History & Geography at Metro Tech High School! Over the course of this year we will be exploring the most significant themes of contemporary world history to help us understand why the world is the way it is today. This course is not about memorizing a bunch of facts; our goal is to use critical thinking skills to analyze the cause and effect relationships between historical events.Through the study of history we will examine the effects of decision-making, learning by example so that we can avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.
