Established in 1969, MEChA is a nationwide organization with over 400 chapters in universities, community colleges, and high schools. MEChA members recognize the central importance of education and activism in the development of ourcommunities. MEChA brings cultural activities to campus such as Día de los Muertos, Mexican Independence Day, and Cinco de Mayo. We work to increase the number of college graduates committed to our communities.
