    About Mrs. Renteria  
     

    Linda Renteria is currently teaching Culinary Arts 1-2 & Culinary 3-4 at Cesar Chavez High School.  This is her 14th year teaching at Chavez.  Mrs. Renteria’s prior teaching experiences were in Ft. Collins and Loveland, CO as a middle school teacher.  She graduated from Colorado State University in May, 2000 with a Bachelor’s in Science in Consumer and Family Studies/Education.  She graduated in 2007 from Ottawa University with a Master’s in Education with a focus as a School Guidance Counselor.   Mrs. Renteria married Daniel Renteria in February 2012.   Her daughter (now 31) talked her into moving here with her 13 years ago as she was beginning her college education at ASU as a Family Studies/Pre-med major.  Currently her daughter Chantel Clark started her 6th year of teaching Early Childhood Education at North High School.  Mrs. Renteria also has a 29-year-old son, who still lives in CO and is successful auto mechanic.  In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family & friends and playing with her dogs.  She also enjoys sewing, hiking, playing pool, ping pong, biking, traveling, interior design, painting, drawing, and working out.
