    Ms. Gentry-Ballance arrived on the Maryvale campus in 1987 to teach Theatre. In 2005 she began teaching English full-time. In 2008 Ms. G-B took a slight detour to Fairfax but retuned to MHS in 2009. At that point she began her successful and rewarding partnership with Mr. Dennis  Pinon. They continue to teach English 3-4 together all day.
