    Hello! I welcome you to our website.
     
    I have been teaching at Maryvale High School since 2007. I am an Inclusion Teacher and teach 9th Grade and 10th grade English. I also work in the Exceptional Student Services Department (ESS). I enjoy helping students succeed in their academics and extra-curricular activities. I am the chess club sponsor and we compete in regional and state tournaments sponsored by Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA). Our Chess Varsity Team has made it to the State Tournaments for the past five consecutive years.
     
    In 2016, we had the opportunity to put together and compete in our first Dragon Boat Race where we ended up in 2nd place.
     
    I am an alumnus of Arizona State University.
