Ms LeSage is a Highly Qualified Reading Specialist.  She has her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State(home of the Nittany Lions), her Master's from Arizona State, and further education and endorsements from the University of Maine, the University of NewMexico, the University of Phoenix, and Rio Salado.  She has 20 years experience teaching highschool students, and has been a member of Carl Hayden Community High School's Reading Department since 2004.

Pretty impressive, huh? I have to say, I've had a lot of different experiences and education,but I really love being here at Hayden and teaching READ 180.  I have taught several different readingprograms, and Scholastic's READ 180 is the most effective, dynamic, and relevantprogram I have ever encountered.  Mystudents are great kids who just happen to read below their grade level.  If they reallybuy into the READ 180 program, it is possible for them to bring their skills upvery quickly.  Many have improved theirreading comprehension from two to six or seven grade levels in just oneacademic school year!  Now that’s impressive.
