College and Careers
Our scholars need the necessary tools and options to prepare them for college, careers and life skills while they are enrolled in high school. These online resources will provide information and support materials for students to navigate for college and career options. While on campus, students have automatic access to all online resources. Visit the Academies at South Mountain Library for all login information required for remote access.
Prepare for your Future is a comprehensive list of college resources from the PXU Counseling Department to help students prepare for their futures. Links connect directly with college representatives and community partners, and are an important guide for the college process.
ACT Academy gives students and parents FREE online access to college planning and test preparation resources. On Tuesday and Saturdays at the Library, tutors can assist with ACT Test Preparation also.
AZCIS (Arizona Career Information System), this comprehensive career resource that promotes students for career self-reliance, self-assessment, career exploration, research, goal-setting, and decision-making.

College Depot, located at the main Phoenix Public Library, is a FREE full-service college resource center, including college planning, financial aid, scholarships, GED and high school connections. Students may receive assistance with completing college applications, FASFA, and personal statements.
EBSCO LearningExpress Library, provides various resources for high school students and college students. They offer services in Spanish too! LearningExpress and PrepSTEP provide academic skill-building, test preparation, and career exploration. PrepSTEP gives students access to test preparation for ACT, ASVAB, PSAT, SAT, AP, and much more!
