Konnor Green

Cesar Chavez High School

Konnor Green is a Senior at Cesar Chavez High School and has been in a friendly rivalry with his older sister for years. He chose to attend Chavez to follow in her footsteps. Since she is one year and one grade level older than him, he has been able to have consistent motivation through their sibling competition. Even though his original intention for attending Chavez was because of his sister, he has grown to love and enjoy the campus and all that it offers. He feels that the Chavez Community is fun to be a part of and it allows you to be academically strong while also being involved in different activities. 

On campus, Konnor is the President of Link Crew, the Vice President of Be A Leader, and a part of the Men's Volleyball Team. After graduation, he is leaving behind a lot of work and progress made in his clubs, and even though he will not be able to participate in what is to come, he is proud to be leaving a legacy behind. His educational experience has impacted him so much that he has decided to become a High School Biology Teacher. He wants to have an impact on kids and feels that being a part of their education is one of the best ways to do that. He will be attending college at Arizona State University, where his older sister attends currently, and will be studying Secondary Education. He hopes to someday teach at Phoenix Union or in Casa Grande. 

In his free time, Konnor enjoys being outside, traveling, and playing sports. To his fellow Class of 2022 members, Konnor says, "No matter where life seems like it is taking you, as long as you have your destination set in the GPS, don't worry too much about right now, as long as you get there in the end."
