As we continue to roll out our new strategy to provide holistic support for all PXU employees, I want to introduce you to our team of Staff Health and Wellness Specialists, Dr. Erika Collins-Frazier, LPC, and NCC, and Cailene Pisciotta, LPC.
Dr. Erika Collins-Frazier, NCC, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. She has extensive training in treating trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder which includes CCTS-I and DBT, both evidence-based treatment modalities. She received her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with the Emphasis in Mental Health from GCU, as well as a MA in Professional Counseling and a MA in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Collins-Frazier, LPC, NCC has been serving recipients of the mental health system since 2000 and believes that wellness and self-care are paramount to a healthy work/life balance.

Cailene Pisciotta, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes in a strength-based and behavioral approach to helping all individuals see their potential and thrive. She received her BA in Psychology at Saint Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana, and a MA in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis on the Treatment of Addiction Disorders at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has been practicing in the mental health field since 2010, serving a diverse population of clients and a wide range of mental health issues. Her training includes Addiction Treatment, Strengths-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. Cailene believes wellness is a team effort; she works with each person in a collaborative manner, building confidence in abilities and achieving successful outcomes. She is passionate about education and mental health and is excited to be a resource to the teachers and staff in the Phoenix Union High School District.

The role of the Staff Health and Wellness Specialist is an integral part of the wellness team as they are:
- Supporting, building, facilitating, and promoting employee safety, health, and wellness
- Eliminating barriers to performing effectively in the work environment
- Providing intervention-based individual therapeutic services to employees
- Connecting with community agencies and/or EAP for ongoing assistance to promote wellness
The team of Staff Health and Wellness Specialists have a rich background in a variety of mental health therapies in community mental health settings, acute care inpatient psychiatric facilities, child and family agencies, community health, and mental health advocacy organizations, and utilizing a variety of evidenced-based techniques and skills. Along with their role in supporting your emotional health, they too are a part of our larger holistic wellness model.
