Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector arrive to campus
7–7:30 am
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector enter through a designated health screening campus entrance only and maintain 6 ft apart from their colleagues entering the campus. Their foot traffic is directed by physical guides. They place on their face masks once on school property which includes the parking lot and campus sidewalks leading up to entrances.
A dedicated team of staff members wearing a face mask and gloves takes Mr. Wright’s and Ms. Spector’s temperatures with a no-contact thermometer and asks them to respond to several questions designed to check for symptoms and/or exposure. They have no symptoms and pass the health screening.
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector enter the school building and clock into work using TCP. They then sanitize their hands at a hand sanitizing station. Mr. Wright proceeds to his typical location on campus and Ms. Spector proceeds to her office. Both follow physical guides as they walk through the hallways and maintain 6 ft apart from other staff and students already in the building.

Teachers, students and visitors arrive on campus and begin requesting services
7:30 am
Mr. Wright, as a part of a dedicated team of staff members, monitors designated campus entry points. He monitors that students, staff, and visitors are wearing face masks once upon school property, and administers health check procedures for those entering campus. Physical guides are placed at entrances as reminders of appropriate distancing, personal protective equipment (PPE), and health check requirements.
Students and staff requesting office-related services (administration, registration, support services) proceed to the appropriate building to receive services, following physical guides as they walk through the hallways and maintain 6ft apart from other staff and students already in the building. Visitors proceed to the administration building following physical guides for social distancing, check-in, and follow directions provided by front office staff.
Seating in Mr. Wright’s and Ms. Spector’s office areas are spaced 6 ft apart. If all seats are full, students/staff/visitors will be asked to form a line following physical guides for social distancing. If space is limited, they may be given alternative locations to wait for service. At high volume times, those requesting services will be given the option of a virtual meeting and/or instructions on how to submit required documents electronically.
Following physical guides for 6 ft distancing, students are permitted to access administration and support services offices, the cafeteria, grab and go breakfast stations, approved outdoor eating areas, and other designated areas identified by the campus. Students may not enter classrooms prior to first period without the permission of the teacher. Classroom doors open at 8:50 for first-period class.
-
First period class begins
9:00 am
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector attend their department or team meeting virtually. There may be circumstances that demand an in-person meeting, in such cases they will be held in large common areas practicing 6 ft distancing and adhering to maximum room capacity based on distancing and square footage.
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector follow standard protocols for responding to urgent teacher requests, including engaging student escorts to different offices on campus when needed.
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector request that, as much as possible, students make appointments in advance for virtual meetings (counselors, liaisons, etc.). If in-person, students must attend a virtual meeting with campus staff during class then they are to go to the designated area on campus to participate in the virtual meeting. If they are attending a meeting in person, whether scheduled in advance or urgent, then normal student pass protocols are followed.
Mr. Wright's and Ms. Spector’s office and/or waiting area are organized to accommodate 6 ft spacing. Masks are worn by all attendees. They clean and sanitize their desk, pens, or other items used by students in between each appointment.
-
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector support the passing period
10:27–10:37 am
Mr. Wright monitors student and staff traffic through hallways and outdoor areas, providing reminders of 6ft distancing as needed. Ms. Spector encourages students to make an appointment, either virtual or in-person. If speaking to a student in a hallway, outdoors, or in her office, she is appropriately distanced and both are wearing a face mask. She ensures the student is on their way to class with sufficient time to avoid bottlenecking at classroom doors.
-
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector eat lunch
11:30 am
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector eat lunch in campus designated areas, not to include office spaces that include other staff members as it requires that masks be removed. They follow distancing protocols and adhere to posted room capacity limits in all common areas. They properly dispose of all food and clean and sanitize the table and chair they used for lunch. Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector follow campus re-entry guidelines if they left campus during lunch.
Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector are required to clock out for lunch. If a student needs service during their lunch period, they should as much as possible be directed to other staff members for support. If it is an emergency, and they provide support to a student, they and the students are not permitted to eat in the office while they are working together. Mr. Wright and Ms. Spector and their students are required to wear masks while they are working together.
-
Student and staff dismissal
2:30–4:30 pm
Mr. Wright participates as a dedicated team member to support the campus procedure for dismissal. He monitors for appropriate distancing, providing guidance to students as needed.
