    Disclaimer

Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) will always be transparent about the community spread of COVID-19 at our sites. Below you will find the number of known positive COVID-19 cases for students and staff, as well as the number of individuals reported as having close contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual.

Phoenix Union serves 28,000 students and nearly 4,000 employees. With such a large footprint, it is difficult to determine total positive cases if, for example, an individual experiencing symptoms does not get tested or if an asymptomatic individual is not tested.

Also, the report of positive cases is not indicative of an individual contracting COVID-19 at one of our sites. In all listed cases, if the individual was physically on campus, all contact tracing, quarantining, and sanitation protocols have been followed based on our health and safety mitigation plan.
