Schedule A Mammogram
In Arizona, breast cancer is the leading form of cancer among women. An estimated 2,800 women will be diagnosed and 600 women will die of breast cancer in Arizona this year.
While there is no known cure for advanced breast cancer, early detection is a proven line of defense against this deadly disease. Detection of breast cancer in its early stages provides a greater chance of cure and more treatment options. When the disease is confined to the breast, the five year survival rate is 97%.
Women should follow this simple three-step program for breast care that includes:
- Conducting monthly breast self-examinations
- Visiting a health care provider on a regular basis for clinical breast examinations
- Having a baseline mammogram at 35 and receiving an annual mammogram beginning at age 40.
To schedule an appointment please call: (480) 967-3767 or 1 800 285-0272 walk-in patients are welcomed, appointments preferred. Spouses welcomed!
Mobile On-site Mammography is unable to screen patients that are pregnant and /or nursing, unless referred by a physician.

February 17, 2022 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Click HERE to register for the FREE Teams Presentation
How Long Do You Want to Live? 10 necessities to a healthy heart and living a long, healthy life.
PXU's Employee Wellness Program invites you to participate in a Virtual Teams presentation with one of Banner Health's Prevention Cardiologist, Dr. R Todd Hurst. Dr. Hurst, MD, FACC, FASE, is a board-certified cardiologist and founder of the MD Team. His passion is using proven strategies to help people lower their risk of heart disease, stroke, and premature death. He has done the hard work for you and has reviewed the BEST science extensively and was able to narrow down those TEN things that would give you the best chance at 100 great years.
If you have ever Googled "how to live a long life," you may get 7.5 billion results. In other words, about one result for every person on earth. So who do you listen to? The number of choices is overwhelming and what many do is jump from idea to idea. Try this one for a while, then hear about something new and try that.
This talk will be a discussion on what these TEN things are and how you can apply them to your life to ensure prolonged health, being slimmer, stronger and energetic, and living independently and vibrantly. With these ten things, you will never wonder or worry about if you are doing the right thing, because now you will have a clear strategy.
Why is this important?- 60% of adults have at least one chronic illness, like high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, heart disease, among others
- 70% of us are overweight
- Diseases like Afib, diabetes, fatty liver, high blood pressure and Alzheimer's dementia are skyrocketing
- Life expectancy has decreased every year since 2014
The hard cold truth is we are sicker now than at any other time in the history of the world.
For more information, please email Jennifer Sundling - jsundling@phoenixunion.org or call 602-384-3083
This presentation will be recorded if you are unable to attend the virtual Teams presentation. Please complete the registration form and mark if you will be attending the Virtual Presentation in real time or will want the presentation link sent to you.
