    Algebra 1-2 Honors         Pre-Calc / AP Calc Block

      
     
     
    I have been teaching in Phoenix Union High School District for the past 10 years.  I have taught Algebra 1-2, Geometry 1-2, Algebra 3-4, Accelerate to Calculus, AS Level Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB.  I enjoy all forms of technology and incorporating technology into my classroom.  As part of my teaching philosophy, I expect all students to be active participants in my class and to always give their best effort.
     
     
    The best way to be successful in my classroom is to following these four simple guidelines:
    1. Come to class On Time
    2. Come to class Prepared
    3. Be Respectful to staff and students
    4. Give your best effort each and every day
     
    Required Materials:
    All students are required to enter each class with the same basic materials.  Each student must have a pencil (work done in pen will not be accepted), a folder or binder and dedicated spiral or composition notebook for this class.  Although all work can be done without a calculator, students are encouraged to use one where appropriate.  Students will have access to graphing calculators inside the classroom but may choose to purchase their own for home use.
