Fitness Fridays
Quotes from Student SWAT Leaders:
Fitness Friday has a positive impact on everyone. You don't even have to be athletic to participate in the activities. It's all about having fun and just being involved. It helps students all around. For example, it can boost their health and can keep their mind off things that stress them out when they participate. - Carlos Lopez Arana
Fitness Fridays are a great way to bring our school together, and get the students involved in physical fitness - Deja Franklin
SWAT's uplifting message to the beloved graduates of 2020 and 2021 that had their senior years interrupted by the pandemic.
Mental Health Mondays
S.W.A.T. Launched the first Mental Health Monday activity 4/19 with an opportunity for students to throw pies at their teachers (and one admin) to relieve their testing and pandemic stress. Each week, there will be a new stress management or coping activity near the Bobcat Zen Den, which features a sand garden and destressing zone. The Zen Den is a work in progress but it will be a great location for students or staff to relax and recenter themselves.
