What's Happening to Fly-in Programs in 2020?

  • As we’ve watched the world change in the last few months, one thing is for sure: everyone’s plans have changed in 2020. Higher education has not been immune to these affects, undergoing policy changes, extended application dates, test optional routes, and deciding when it is safe for students to get to campus. Since traditional college visits and travel in general seems to be out of reach right now, some colleges are continuing to offer opportunities to get to know what their school has to offer. Enter – virtual fly-in programs. These programs aren’t quite the same as getting you to the quad, staying in a dorm, or face-to-face meetings with future classmates, but they will still provide you with a chance to connect and get a better feel for the school from the safety of home.
