• Student support services are available to students whose problems interfere with their learning and/or place them at risk of dropping out of school. Social services provided at Cesar Chavez High School include but are not limited to:

     

    • Case management
    • Individual, family, and group counseling
    • Crisis counseling
    • Mandated groups including Anger Management, Jumpstart, and ASAP  
    • Referral to community and school resources for obtaining food, clothing, shelter, medical, dental, vision and behavioral health services.
    • Advocacy for youth and families
    • Teen pregnancy and parenting skills classes
    • Truancy prevention and juvenile offender diversion programs
    • Conflict resolution/mediation
    • Classroom presentations
    • One on one or family therapy provided by Southwest Behavioral Health.
