Student support services are available to students whose problems interfere with their learning and/or place them at risk of dropping out of school. Social services provided at Cesar Chavez High School include but are not limited to:
- Case management
- Individual, family, and group counseling
- Crisis counseling
- Mandated groups including Anger Management, Jumpstart, and ASAP
- Referral to community and school resources for obtaining food, clothing, shelter, medical, dental, vision and behavioral health services.
- Advocacy for youth and families
- Teen pregnancy and parenting skills classes
- Truancy prevention and juvenile offender diversion programs
- Conflict resolution/mediation
- Classroom presentations
- One on one or family therapy provided by Southwest Behavioral Health.
