I am really excited to start this year! This is my 6th year at Central High School. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Master’s in Education in School Counseling. This is my 12th year working as a school counselor. I grew up in Yuma, Arizona where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. With this degree, I worked as an 8th grade language arts teacher for five years. When I completed my master’s degree, I began working as a senior counselor/scholarship and testing coordinator for a high school in the same area. Six years ago, I moved to Phoenix and became a proud Central Bobcat counselor serving our Central ELL population.
I am here to support you and your family. Students can see me for a variety of services such as scheduling, social/emotional related concerns, career and academic advising. I can also help you find resources to help you pay for college such as scholarships and/or other sources of support, and other concerns that may arise throughout your high school education. I am here to help and guide you, so that you can accomplish your academic, personal, and career related goals. I look forward to meeting all of you!
