TEXTBOOKS

The Decodable Digest has two passages containing the sound-spelling

aspects in the program. The 44 Book reinforces skills with activities like

word building, word sorts, and puzzles.

COMPUTER SOFTWARE

System 44 computer software has four strands (The Code, Sight Words,

Word Strategies, and Success) with four zones in each strand (Smart

Zone, Word Zone, Spelling Zone, and Fluency Zone). This software

works to support student's understanding of English's 44 sounds and

26 letters.

PAPERBACK-AUDIO BOOKS

The program contains 36 paperback books with audio support. These

correspond with the computer software and textbook lessons.
