Welcome to the home of the Bobcats!
I'm going on my 9th year here at Central High School and my 15th year in the Phoenix Union High School District. I was born in Hartford, Connecticut. I'm of Jamaican / American descent. I was raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I have a B.A. in Multimedia Digital Animation Production and an M.Ed. in Counseling. My favorite thing about being a high school counselor is getting to build relationships with the students, parents, and staff. My position is unique in that I have the potential to impact every student in my school. I enjoy getting to know my students and having the opportunity to support them by helping them learn social and emotional skills that they will need to be successful. I also enjoy being a part of helping teachers meet the needs of their students, being a resource, and making an impact in students' lives. It's fun to have such a special and unique role within the school. I serve as the NCAA Clearinghouse Liaison for student athletes, DLA (Diversity Leadership Alliance), a Leadership program for students in grades 10th - 12th, HBCU College Fair and Tour Liaison, Apprenticeship Programs & Summer Programs Liaison and the ACE (Achieving a College Education) Program Liaison. I'm also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. I'm happy to be a part of the Central High School Counseling Team that is Preparing Every Student For Success In College, Career and Life!
