• The Pharmacy Support Services Program is a two year class offered to juniors and seniors in the Phoenix Union High School District.  This class prepares students to become a Pharmacy Technician in Arizona.  The student must be eighteen yers old and pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam after high school graduation in order to work in any pharmacy setting. The average starting salary for full time Certified Pharmacy Technicians in Arizona is $32,219 per year.

    Most students that enroll in this class are interested in working in the healthcare environment. Many students plan to go on to college to major in Nursing, Pre-Med and a variety of other healthcare professions.  Many students in this program are also enrolled in Honors and AP classes and/or have completed Chemistry.
