About the Teacher

I am originally from Plainview, New York.  I lived in New York until the age of 28.  I moved to Phoenix during 1991.  My bachelor's degree is in Accounting.  I worked as an accountant for 6 years.  Upon receiving my master's degree in Education, I began a teaching career.

For 26 years, I have taught middle and high school students.  Over the years, I have taught many subjects including Business, Economics, English, History and Technology. I have also taught College Accounting and Business courses (at Paradise Valley Community College and Scottsdale Community College).  I am an adjunct instructor at PVCC.  I presently teach Career Exploration at Metro Tech High School.

During my spare time, I enjoy reading.  My favorite books include biographies and nonfiction. I also enjoy traveling.  I have traveled extensively but my favorite travel spot is Hawaii. In addition, I am interested in sports, especially baseball.

I live in Phoenix with my husband of 29 years, Joe.
