Since 1976, Bostrom Alternative Center for Education has provided learning opportunities for students to find success in a small school environment that focuses on student-centered learning while simultaneously supporting the whole student. We have outstanding staff members who care, and who hold each student accountable for his/her education. Bostrom’s flexible learning options are available to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders who reside in the Phoenix Union High School District. Instruction is delivered in four nine-week sessions in which students concentrate on three block classes at a time. Students are selected for admission based on an application and interview process and parents must attend a mandatory orientation.
